CHEESE AND ONION FLAN

Source: "So This Is Kosher" by Ann Kaye and Hetty Rance, 1986

Roll out the pastry to fit an 8" flan tin. Chill in freezer, 15-30 minutes.

Heat oil in small pan. Saute onions until soft and transparent.

Mix eggs and milk. Add the onions and cheese, and season to taste. Pour into flan tin and bake at 375F for 35-40 min until set and golden.
