Hello I am Chantel I have been doing an RE project at college and have been told to do some research, can you tell me where the bone, lettuce, parsley e.t.c come into the story of Exodus and what they represent? PLEASE
Where are you located? I recently moved to Chicago and am havig a dificult
time finding kosher meats, prepared foods, etc. Would you happen to know
any kosher markets, or wholesalers of Kosher foods in Chicago?
OK FROM MY YOUTH I REMEMBER TWO THINGS. A WINE CALLED EXODUS, CAN YOU TELL
ME WHERE I CAN BUY IT. I NOW LIVE ARIZONA. ALSO, STUFFED DERMA, CAN YOU TELL
ME WHAT IS IN IT AND HOW TO MAKE IT.
As an Ashkenazi, I've always been told that pasta, rice, kasha are NOT
Kosher for Passover. I know that the Sephardim view this differently. Are
there any circumstances under which KASHA is Kosher for Passover? And is
there somewhere I can look to get a listing of both Ashkenazi and Sephardic
products that are? Thanks.
I am interested in knowing the carb count on your dark chocolate bars.
Thanks for letting me know.
I'm new to email so I'll include my address here although you'll probably get it when I send this.
Thanks again,
Is shark kosher? I would have thought it a fish and therefore safe, but I
have a friend who thinks that since a shark has no scales it isn't "really"
a fish …. (biologically, this is bogus: it's a cartilaginous fish; but
for determining if it's kosher, I don't know how a "fish" is defined) How
is this resolved? Does it matter if the particular type of shark is a
scavenger or not?
I am not Jewish but my boyfriend is. This year, I will be going to the
sedar dinner at his parents house and was just wondering if there was
anything I should know or what to expect? Any customs I should know about?
I want to be respectful and educated. Thank you.
Pesach begins on Saturday night this year. What will we do for Shabbos?
Will challah be required? Matzah won't be appropriate it; will it? Please
explain.
I am from South Africa and I work for Unilever SA. We are compiling a list of
our products that are considered acceptable for use during the passover period,
but we are unsure of a few things.
Would castor oil and other oils derived from plants be acceptable, or does it
depend on where in the plant the oil is obtained? We understand that unleavened
products are not eaten, but is a nut or oil from a seed considered to be
unleavened?
I would appreciate it if you could reply as soon as possible, as the
information is required for publication in a Jewish circular in south Africa.
IS IT ALRIGHT TO USE AN NEW UNOPENED MILK DURING PASSOVER EVEN IF IT ISN'T
MARKED KP? WHAT ABOUT OTHER PRODUCTS WHICH YOU CANNOT READILY GET? THANK
YOU.
We've been invited to a Sephardi Seder for Pesach. What is the halacha for
an Ashkenazi Jew - should we go, not go, or only eat according to our
minhag?
Whats the date of the first Passover?
Who was the main person who made Passover happen?
Is Passover one of the most important holidays to most people who
celebrate it?
Thanks!!
